Finding your Domain.

 

First open up a Dos Prompt or Command Prompt on the PC connected to the net, then type in the following command, ping -a <your current IP> , you will then get a reply similar to the one's in the pics below.

You can find your current IP by typing ipconfig in the Dos or Command Prompts.

Your IP will be similar to the one with the red arrow, do NOT use 192.168.0.1.

Your domain is the part circled in red. Note: the first two entries will vary with area and state.

As you can see, Win98 & W2K/XP both report the same result.
